Marble Countertop Protection That Lasts a Lifetime

Marble is beautiful, but lemon juice, wine, vinegar, tomato sauce and even some cleaners can etch it in seconds, leaving dull spots that won’t wipe away. Sealers don’t stop etching; they only slow down stains. MORE® AntiEtch® is a clear protective film that sits on top of the stone, so acids never touch the marble.

Our Process

AntiEtch isn’t a quick wipe-on product. We start by making every repair possible: seams, chips around sinks and edges, and mitered edges. Then we hone the stone down so the AntiEtch bonds properly, and we prime white marbles so they stay bright. After several specialty steps in between, the AntiEtch is applied and finished to the sheen you choose, from honed to polished.

A full kitchen typically takes 1 to 2 days. Vanities, small islands and similar pieces usually take half a day to a full day.

Easy Care and Repairable

Once AntiEtch is on, your countertops won’t etch or stain, no matter what you clean them with. We still recommend a pH-neutral cleaner, because edges, waterfalls, backsplashes and marble floors nearby aren’t protected the same way. And unlike marble that has to be refinished all over again, if AntiEtch ever gets scratched or damaged, we can repair just that spot without redoing the whole countertop.
