Grout Restoration

Your tiled floors and other grouted surfaces tell plenty about your home or office. How do they look? If they are dull or dingy it may be time for a good cleaning and sealing. Here at Prestige grout we offer a full range of tile & grout services. Including:

Our cleaning system uses a combination of machine scrubbing, wet vacuum extraction, hand detailing edges and 300 degree high pressure vapor steam to blast away years of grease, grime, mold, mildew and soap scum buildup that occurs over time. This leaves your floors & showers looking squeaky clean and sanitized.

After a thorough cleaning we can then seal your grout using one of 2 methods.

Method 1:

Clear Sealing Grout

If the grout comes out to an acceptable appearance level we can use a clear sealer. This will help the grout to stay cleaner longer and allow future cleanings to achieve better results. Our impregnating clear sealer is one of the best on the markets today. Our penetrating sealer is designed for the protection of all medium to dense porous surfaces. The sealer forms an invisible barrier that is resistant too moisture and stains while allowing vapor to escape. This sealer is not a surface coating and will not alter the natural look or leave any waxy residues. All surfaces treated are harder and less slippery.

Disadvantages of Clear Sealers:

May not fully remove all grout stains, life of clear sealant is approx. 12-24 months.

Method 2:

Grout Color Sealing

Sometimes, despite our best efforts, grouted surfaces will just not return to their original color due too long time embedded stains and improper cleaning. In this case – we can use a colored sealant to return your grout back to its’ original color or in many cases change the color of the grout to give the floor a new look for a fraction of the cost of replacement.

Prestige Grout uses a color seal that has be created by chemists to permanently fill and eliminate the dirt trapping pores of the grout, not just temporarily waterproofing the pores like clear sealers and over the counter coloring products that wash away after a few months of normal maintenance. Our color seal is the only product available that is not water soluble after proper curing (72 hours).

Prestige uses a 4 step restoration process to revitalize your grouted surfaces and create an easily cleanable surface. This process not only restores your floors and showers to their original beauty but also contains fungicides, bactericides and anti microbial built into the color seal formula to insure sanitation for many years to come.

All of our sealants are safe for families and pets.

Our color seal contains urethanes and concrete hardening agents. It’s thicker than other sealants, to fill and eliminate the dirt trapping pores of the grout not just waterproof the pores like other sealers do.
